Aeri Lee (geb. 1969, Korea) promovierte an der Sookmyung Women's University und ist
Derzeit Gastprofessorin an der Hyupseong-Universität wie der Sookmyung-Universität. Mit traditionellen koreanischen Materialien wie Hanji-Papier (Papier von Maulbeerbaum), Tinte und Gouache zeichnet die Künstlerin Blüten und Früchte in ornamentalen Bildern, die Glück und Fruchtbarkeit versinnbildlichen sollen. Sie malt in harmonischen Farben, die wie in dem Bild „Ohne Titel“ von 2022 beispielhaft den Prozess der Natur beschreiben. Die Physalis ist in Natur knallig Orange, das bricht Aeri Lee und so wirken auch die gezeichneten Fruchtkörbe eher verlockend als vergänglich. Die Zartheit der Fruchthüllen spiegelt die Künstlerin nicht allein in diesem Werk. Das Ornament ist ein Vorläufer der Abstraktion und beruht auf den Gesetzen der Natur. Die Vervielfältigung wie die Vielfalt sind Zeichen der Natur. Agrikultur, damit auch die Welt der Früchte und Blumen, ist Bestandteil jeglicher Kultur. Die Linienführung eines Ackers, später eines Feldes verdeutlicht die Absicht der Künstlerin mit der Organisation der Natur die eigenen Kunstwerke zu komponieren. Das Bild ist wie ein Korb, in den die Früchte fallen, aber nicht zufällig, sondern von Aeri Lee bestimmt. Am oberen Bildrand löst sie die Dichte des unteren Bildrandes auf. Mit Streuung und Akkumulation ordnet sie das Ornamentale ins Geistige.

이애리(1969년 대한민국 양평 출생)는 한지(닥나무 종이)는 먹, 과슈 등 한국의 전통 재료를 사용하여 행복과 풍요를 상징하는 꽃과 과일을 장식적인 이미지와 함께 구성한다.

이애리는 2022년의 “Good Luck in Ground Cherry" 그림에서와 같이 자연의 조화로운 과정을 모범적으로 묘사 하는 색상으로 그림을 그린다. 원래의 physalis는 자연스럽게 밝은 오렌지색이지만, 이애리는 그것을 부수려 하기 때문에 화면 속의 과일 바구니는 우리가 마주치는 것들보다 더 유혹적이다. 이애리가 이 작품에서 과일 장식의 부드러움만을 반영하는 것은 아니다. 장식은 추상화의 선구자이며 자연의 법칙을 기반으로 한다.  번식과 다양성은 자연의 징후이고, 과일과 꽃의 세계를 포함한 땅의 작업은 모든 문화의 일부이다. 나중에는 들판이 된 들판의 선들은 자연의 구성으로 자신만의 작품을 표현하려는 작가의 의도를 충분히 보여 주고 있다.

이애리의 그림은 화면이  과일 바구니처럼 그녀의 의도로 그려진다. 특히 그림의 구성은 위쪽 가장자리와 아래쪽 가장자리의 밀도를 녹여 놓고 흩어짐과 축적을 통해 꽈리를  영적인 것으로 배열해 놓는다.
